More than who I am

My tribute to the Castle episode Killshot (4x09). This scene was so powerful because at this point Kate Beckett decided to change her life.

Dr. Burke: "Kate, what do you want?"

Kate: "I want to be more...than who I am."

Prismacolor pencils (Premier and Verithin) on A4 Bristol paper. First drawing I finished using Prismacolor \o/ And I used 's tutorial for colouring. Her tutorial is awesome! She is awesome! Go check out her gallery if you haven't yet, you will be mind blown!

ETA: I've been staring at this for a while now and I like how you can actually see a learning process going on within this drawing (I'm still looking for things I can change, I see some but won't change it). I had never drawn with Prismacolor pencils before this and about halfway through I purchased Verithin pencils for the details. The lowest panel is the one I finished last and on the same day I had finished the background of the first panel. I like the middle one the least because I kind of messed up the skincolour. This turned out better in the last panel but it does make it look as though these two panels don't belong together. Thus concludes my own critique on the drawing, haha!
